Around the world - without an engine!

EcoVannin was delighted to have the opportunity to introduce Jason Lewis at this year’s Manx Litfest

As the first person to circumnavigate the Earth using only human-power – no motors or sails! – Jason has used his adventures to talk to schoolchildren around the world about global citizenship, zero carbon emission travel and the awareness of individual lifestyle choices on the health of the planet.

His talk was a great hit with the audience at Laxey Glen Gardens and a lesson to us all about what can be achieved with a positive attitude and a passion for protecting our planet for the future.

As an ardent campaigner, Jason was interested to hear about the EcoVannin project, saying the Isle of Man is a great place to show sustainability in action through every person in the community sharing their ideas and doing their bit. We couldn’t agree more!
